On July 23, with the active efforts of staff of SIANJIA, the inspection and maintenance project of instrument valve during the 2015 overhaul of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Olefins received a complete success. The maintenance work lasts more than 20 days, overcomes many difficulties, and wins high praise from customers.

For the valve repair, SIANJIA sent a total of 18 employees from the production department, technology department, quality department to the site. This is the first large-scale action that SIANJIA sent staff to the customer site for long-distance valve repair operation. This is not only a big test of our production organization, and also a field test of the ability of maintenance skills of staff of SIANJIA.

SIANJIA attached great importance in the middle of June after the bid-winning notice, sent technical and maintenance staff to maintenance site survey, and organized the staff of production, technology, quality department to discuss the maintenance plan, formulated the detailed maintenance plan for each valve, to ensure the repair project.

On June 25, 18 maintenance staff of SIANJIA rushed to the scene Shenhua Ningxia Coal Olefins from Tianjin under the guidance of production vice President WANG Dayong. Through on-site inspection, 117 sets of the maintenance valve, has special installation space, large caliber, special working conditions, complicated structure, part of valves have phenomenon of leakage or jamming, and were difficult to overhaul, such as PSA area valve installed on the pipeline has been five years without dismantling, was threaded corrosion, pipeline deformation, and need to correct the pipeline by jack or hinge to tear open outfit; the work space of power supply area is narrow, hot tight connection bolt, hot tight temperature as high as 250 ℃; aggregation area 38 meters off the ground, the work high above of destuffing four ball valves, all need artificial climbing the stairs to lift...Coupled with sustained high temperature and heavy rain weather, increased larger difficulty to all assignments of maintenance.

Short time limit, difficult task, maintenance staff of SIANJIA did not retreat. In order to grab the construction period, the staff often worked overnight - 6# boiler feed valve had inner leakage, and found serious corrosion on the seat hole after the valve opened, due to the connection of valve is welded, it can only be cut off, repair welding and reworked. Maintenance staff worked overnight after offline, and set the valve in the pipeline the next day before 10a.m. Synthetic area butterfly valve encountered some obstacles in the process of dismantling, lead to dismantle process lasted one and a half days, maintenance staff worked overnight in the heavy rain, maintenance staff clothes were wet and dry, dry and wet...

The top leaders of Olefin company also visit to the scene many times, see the orderly operation of each link of the maintenance staff of SIANJIA at the scene from the command scheduling, disassembly and maintenance, processing and assembly, to install, they all gave high evaluation.

This maintenance lasts 29 days, a total of overhaul completed 117 of valves, including 47 sets of ball valve, 43 sets of regulating valves, 27 sets of butterfly valves. The successful completion of the project, not only verify the strength of valve repair of SIANJIA, also verify SIANJIA has a strong team.
